Yes many pics are taken at random, but some are planned.. I waited for fall, then waited for a great day to capture Mt. P. from here.
When I got on the hill of Forest Rose these clouds floated over and I sat on a step for about an hour for the clouds to clear.
Me n Kookie hanging out until the clouds moved away
We saw a bunch of people strolling around the grave yard, must have been there to visit a ghost ?
In order to get great colors outside it must be a clear sky. After the clouds floated away, I took about 20 pics of Mt. P. in all of it's glory.
I fiddled with different exposures n this one is dsc00434.jpg Oct 31, 2020

I almost waited too long. After I captured these photos, the wind began and blew hard making the leaves fall.
What you see here in social media is a reduced resolutions that might make a small photo but to have an enlargement made, the full resolution is required.
Photos taken of places you have never seen are sold for hundreds ... thousands of dollars.
The photos I take have a special meaning to those who are from our turf.
If you are one who might buy 'art' for your wall, I have several of Mt. Pleasant.
Prints can be made from $10.00 to $200.00 for metal prints (20x30).. then add a frame.
Why would someone spend many times more on a photo enlargement.. I guess it is like, why would someone spend thousands on a Rolex when they could buy a Timex :)
There are things I never knew about photos until I thought about having my own print made.

I have spent thousands on camera equipment and have been capturing Mt. P. since 2010 (2020 as I type this)
